Terms and Conditions
INTRODUCTION
These Terms & Conditions apply to all lessons, workshops, programs, performances, and any additional products and/or services offered by VioVoi Music Academy, now or in the future (collectively referred to as "VioVoi Music Academy Activities").
For a child to participate in any VioVoi Music Academy Activity, a Parent or Legal Guardian must acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions by signing the registration form or by selecting the acceptance checkbox when submitting an online application. VioVoi Music Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
For the purposes of this document:
-
"Term" refers to one regular academic term of VioVoi Music Academy during which weekly lessons are conducted.
-
"Term Dates" refer to the published dates for the relevant academic term.
1. Admission of a New Student
To apply for admission to any program at VioVoi Music Academy, the Parent or Legal Guardian must complete the registration process and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
All lesson fees must be paid in advance.
A student's place is confirmed and reserved only upon successful registration and receipt of the applicable payment.
Fee Payments and Refunds
Fees are payable on or before the 7th day of each month.
A late payment charge of ₹500 per month will be applied to payments received after the due date.
Repeated late payment may result in suspension or cancellation of the student's enrollment.
VioVoi Music Academy does not provide refunds under any circumstances.
If a lesson is cancelled by the Academy for any reason, an equivalent replacement lesson will be provided. This may take the form of a concert rehearsal, workshop, masterclass, or a lesson conducted by an alternate teacher.
Students are expected to complete all lessons for which they have enrolled. If a student chooses to discontinue lessons during the month, any remaining fees shall be forfeited and will not be refunded.
3. Cancellation and Non-Attendance
If a student is absent from one or more sessions during an ongoing program or workshop, no replacement lessons or refunds will be provided.
Where a participant fails to attend an enrolled workshop or program, the full course fee shall remain payable.
VioVoi Music Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any session and will offer an alternative session wherever reasonably possible.
Students who miss three consecutive lessons without notifying their teacher in advance may forfeit their regular lesson slot. Continuation of lessons will be subject to the availability of an alternative time slot.
4. Trial Period
VioVoi Music Academy does not offer trial lessons.
For selected workshops, a demonstration session may be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. Use of Personal Information
Personal information provided by the Parent or Legal Guardian during registration will be processed by VioVoi Music Academy solely for administrative purposes, educational management, research, and the provision of music education services.
Personal information will only be disclosed to external agencies where required or permitted by applicable law, including organisations responsible for child safeguarding.
VioVoi Music Academy will not share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. However, the Academy may use such information for its own communications, marketing, business development, and to promote future programs, events, products, and services.
Parents who do not wish to receive promotional communications from VioVoi Music Academy should notify the Academy in writing.
From time to time, VioVoi Music Academy may photograph or record students during lessons, workshops, rehearsals, performances, or other Academy activities for use in promotional, educational, archival, or publicity materials. Consent for such usage is requested during the registration process.
VioVoi Music Academy retains all rights, title, and interest in its website, software, written content, photographs, videos, trademarks, logos, branding, and all associated intellectual property. Nothing contained within these Terms & Conditions grants or transfers ownership of such rights.
Any intellectual property created during any workshop or program that is owned by VioVoi Music Academy shall remain the exclusive property of the Academy.
6. Health and Injuries
Students participate in all VioVoi Music Academy Activities at their own risk.
Parents must disclose any existing medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or other relevant health information during registration. Any subsequent changes must be communicated to the Academy immediately in writing.
If there is any uncertainty regarding a child's suitability to participate in any activity, Parents should seek advice from the child's General Practitioner (GP) or qualified medical professional before enrollment.
Students must wear suitable clothing and appropriate footwear during all Academy activities.
In the event that a child becomes unwell or requires emergency medical treatment during an Academy activity, the Parent or Emergency Contact listed on the registration form will be contacted immediately.
Parents are solely responsible for ensuring that emergency contact information remains current and that the nominated contact is available throughout the duration of the student's attendance.
Students experiencing symptoms of illness, including fever, cold, flu, or other contagious conditions, should attend their lesson online wherever possible instead of attending in person.
7. Personal Property
Students are responsible for the care and security of their personal belongings and musical instruments.
VioVoi Music Academy accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto Academy premises.
The maximum aggregate liability of VioVoi Music Academy in relation to any claim arising under these Terms & Conditions shall not exceed the fee paid for the specific VioVoi Music Academy Activity to which the claim relates.
The liability of VioVoi Music Academy and its staff is limited to the duration of scheduled class time and only in circumstances involving gross negligence.
12. Online Session Supervision
Parents or Legal Guardians agree that children attending online lessons or other VioVoi Music Academy Activities shall do so under appropriate parental or adult supervision.
13. General
VioVoi Music Academy reserves the right to offer admission to students who satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements and Academy policies.
The Academy reserves the right to make changes to lesson schedules, timetables, venues, or teaching staff where necessary due to illness or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Each student is offered 44 lessons per academic year, with fees payable monthly or bi-monthly, depending on the selected payment plan.
Where appropriate and subject to the teacher's discretion and availability, a lesson may be rescheduled within the same week as the original lesson.
A lesson that has already been rescheduled cannot be rescheduled a second time.
If a lesson is cancelled by VioVoi Music Academy, an equivalent replacement lesson will be provided, which may include a rehearsal, workshop, masterclass, or lesson with an alternate teacher.
Where a student is unable to attend a scheduled lesson due to illness, holidays, examinations, family commitments, or any decision by the Parent or student not to attend, VioVoi Music Academy regrets that no refund, credit, or replacement lesson can be provided.
Parents and Guardians are responsible for collecting students promptly at the conclusion of each session. VioVoi Music Academy cannot provide supervision outside scheduled class hours.
Academy fees are reviewed annually and may be revised each year in the month of July.
These Terms & Conditions, together with the completed registration form, constitute the entire agreement between VioVoi Music Academy and the Parent or Legal Guardian and supersede all previous discussions, understandings, representations, agreements, or communications relating to the subject matter herein.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
